think-cell provides graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating data-driven slides for professional Excel and PowerPoint users. The testing department makes sure that new features are usable for all user groups, from new users to seasoned financial professionals.

What you will do

As an AI Engineer, you will get to apply your passion for AI to build sophisticated systems and great code that makes the think-cell product stronger and more automated.

You'll have the creative freedom to go beyond writing product code, focusing on building innovative prototypes that push the boundaries of what our software can do. You will contribute as a generalist with a strong understanding of the main AI frameworks, helping to push these boundaries. You will build prototypes to automate tasks, apply prompt engineering and other AI techniques, and write Python code while working independently to solve complex challenges.

Your work will directly impact our core mission of automating complex tasks in the slide writing context, which in turn makes business presentations easier and more enjoyable for over 1.3 million users worldwide.

You will be great for this position if you have

3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Strong Python skills for writing clean, testable, and production-grade code, with experience in prototyping and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI).
Solid understanding of large language models, transformer architectures, and practical use of frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
Ability to design and assess modular, multi-step agent workflows with clear metrics, including agent routing, memory, and tool orchestration.
Skilled in prompt design, function calling, tool integration, and familiarity with RAG pipelines and vector stores (e.g., FAISS).
Experience with fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, Hugging Face), and data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment of custom models.
Proficiency in iterative improvement based on user feedback and testing, along with basic Docker, CI/CD, and code quality practices.
