We are currently recruiting two AI Engineers for a long-term assignment with our client , a globally recognised technology organisation headquartered in Munich.

Our client develops high-precision technologies used worldwide in advanced communications, research, and highly secure environments . Their engineering teams operate at the forefront of innovation, building solutions where software engineering, artificial intelligence, and secure R&D environments intersect .

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise AI architecture, large language models (LLMs), AI developer tooling, and multi-agent systems , helping shape how AI is deployed across complex engineering environments.

The position is ideal for experienced engineers with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands‑on experience implementing LLM‑based systems, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI development tooling such as GitHub Copilot Enterprise and Cursor .

Strategic AI Tooling Roadmap

• Develop and implement a company‑wide AI tooling strategy
• Define when to use GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Cursor, cloud AI services, or on‑premise AI solutions
• Align AI tooling with developer workflows and enterprise requirements

AI Architecture and Efficiency

• Design and implement scalable AI architectures
• Optimise LLM usage and AI workflows
• Reduce redundant AI calls and manage API cost growth
• Ensure efficient integration of cloud AI services and on‑premise models

LLM and Multi‑Agent Systems

• Build and deploy multi‑agent architectures
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Integrate modern LLM frameworks and orchestration tools

Business and Engineering Interface

• Act as a technical liaison between business units and central engineering teams
• Translate AI requirements into practical engineering solutions

AI Adoption and Enablement

• Conduct ongoing AI capability and needs analysis
• Collaborate with training departments to enable AI adoption across engineering teams
• Support the rollout of AI developer tools and best practices

Required Experience

• Several years of software engineering experience
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Copilot Enterprise and Cursor
• Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience building multi‑agent systems
• Practical experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience working with cloud AI services and on‑premise AI infrastructure
• Strong awareness of security, compliance, and responsible AI deployment
