AI Futures have been exclusively retained to appoint an AI Platform Developer for one of Europe’s leading HealthTech pioneers, renowned for its global dominance in e-health solutions and sustained growth over nearly four decades. Their innovative platform empowers millions of medical professionals across 60 countries, driving efficiency and interoperability in healthcare delivery.

In this role, you will architect and deploy cutting-edge AI platforms to revolutionise healthcare data management. Through close collaboration with the Berlin-based technology leadership team, you’ll build scalable, LLM-powered microservices using Java, Python, and Azure AI, enabling seamless integration of intelligent systems for global healthcare providers.

You must speak a basic level of German for this position (A2/B1+).

Hybrid: 2 days/week in office.

The fixed salary is up to €90k.

The Role

Develop and maintain a scalable Agent Mesh based on microservices, ensuring robust, multi-tenant, and secure AI platforms for healthcare applications.
Orchestrate agentic systems using frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel, integrating Foundation Models such as Azure OpenAI or Mistral for advanced functionality.
Design intelligent backend components for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), context management, and agentic collaboration to enhance healthcare interoperability.
Build and optimise pipelines for prompt engineering, inference control, and usage analytics to ensure high-performance AI solutions.
Collaborate with frontend, UX, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end AI platforms, driving operational efficiency and user impact.

The Candidate

Technical Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Java (Spring, Quarkus) and ideally Python (LangChain, FastAPI, AsyncIO), with a focus on LLM-supported microservice architectures.
AI Platform Development: Proven experience building agentic applications, leveraging vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone) and RAG approaches.
Cloud Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Azure AI/ML or similar platforms (AWS, GCP), with expertise in CI/CD and data integration for AI systems.
Scalability & Security: Deep understanding of scaling, multi-tenancy, and security requirements in AI platforms, ideally within regulated industries like healthcare.
