AI Software Developer - Finance and Investments

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Software Developer with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and data management to join our growing engineering team. This role emphasizes full‑stack capabilities to build and maintain financial data management systems and AI‑powered applications sitting on top of our core index and data management infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience developing scalable APIs and creating intelligent software solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable infrastructures that support high‑throughput, low‑latency operations, enabling the deployment of numerous models with minimal resource footprint.
Ensure seamless integration of AI components with existing systems and maintain high standards of software quality.
Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of AI solutions in production, including the integration of large language models (LLMs) via APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and others).
Own AI and diverse back‑end solutions end‑to‑end, from design to deployment to monitoring.
Drive continuous automation across the business by identifying new opportunities and iterating on past solutions to keep pace with evolving needs and capabilities.
Engage with stakeholders – internal and external – to identify opportunities where agentic AI can drive significant business value.
Translate complex requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints for AI solutions.
Develop and enforce frameworks for seamlessly integrating multiple AI models and tools, prioritizing security, compliance, and system reliability.

Essential Experience & Skills

Minimum of 5 years of software developer experience and 2 years of experience in AI/ML system development, including experience with prompt engineering or agentic AI architectures.
Expert proficiency in Python and its ecosystem of AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch).
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI design patterns, including structured outputs, function calling, and intelligent workflow orchestration.
Proficiency in modern programming languages for agentic AI engineering.
Experience supporting Cloud platform infrastructure, including AWS.
Proven track record of deploying AI solutions in production environments.
Understanding of data structures and algorithms, ensuring efficient and optimized AI system performance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
