Riverty is currently institutionalizing AI implementation by setting up a dedicated AI Unit tasked with driving AI implementation across the entire organization.

As a Senior AI Tech Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling our AI capabilities across the organization. Acting as a technical advisor within the central AI Unit, you will support our cross‑functional teams in building, testing, and deploying scalable machine learning solutions. You’ll work closely with data scientists, engineers, functional and business units to bring AI use cases from idea to production—ensuring they’re robust, maintainable, and impactful. Your expertise will be central to ensuring that our AI solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

What You’ll Do

• Guide teams in selecting the right models and tools based on the use case (e.g., classical ML, deep learning, LLMs).
• Support development and deployment of AI solutions, helping teams build and troubleshoot models and pipelines.
• Promote consistency in MLOps workflows (e.g., model versioning, testing, monitoring).
• Advise on selection and integration of AI solutions into business and tech environments based on jointly defined use cases (e.g. AI supported Forecasting).
• Understand both, the world of tech and Riverty´s business challenges in the context of AI, challenge the status quo, create and architect innovative yet feasible ideas.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to the organization.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure responsible and secure AI use.

What You Bring

• Strong hands‑on experience in machine learning and model development (Python, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Working knowledge of MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, SageMaker).
• Experience supporting teams in deploying and scaling AI solutions.
• You know the overall landscape of AI technologies services well. You possess excellent knowledge of external AI models like OpenAI, vertex, claude etc.
• Comfortable working across functions—partnering with engineers, analysts, and business teams alike.
• Critical thinking – ability to question approaches and potential (re‑)define conventional ways of working by usage of AI.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms (esp. Azure).
• Understanding of AI ethics, explainability, or compliance frameworks.
• Understanding / experience in scalable enterprise architecture design (e.g. built processes, …).
• Springboot, microservice design, dotnet, API design, MS Azure OpenAI services, …
