AIRBUS: Project Manager (m/f/d) Transformation & Digital

You will work as Project Management Responsible (m/f/d) in the Transformation & Digital team within Customer Services Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or contribute to transverse projects within the department’s project portfolio
• Define, implement and lead a project team/organization all along the project phases, including team members from other functions (matrix organisations)
• Ensure robust project planning, business case development and milestone delivery in line with agreed plans as well as the department’s portfolio and finance rules, whether leading or contributing to projects
• Ensure proactive risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare clear and concise decision and steering committee documentation, as well as other project review materials, for presentation to departmental management
• Regularly communicate project status, progress and potential risks to the relevant stakeholder community
• Ensure effective integration of lessons learned and actively pursue opportunities for simplification

Qualifications

• Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, international management or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in customer service, project management and stakeholder management
• Proven experience in leading projects
• Good knowledge of change management
• Basic knowledge of process management and risk management
• Experience within AIRBUS is an advantage
• Experience in IT/information systems; knowledge of Skywise and AI is an advantage
• Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
• Structured, efficient and well‑organised working style
• Ability to self‑organise and work autonomously, even under challenging conditions
• Ability to multitask and perform well under time pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong intercultural competence
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary and international teams
• Willingness to travel (approximately 4–6 times per year)
