The Team

A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is one of the largest transaction advisory practices outside the Big Four, partnering with leading private equity firms and multinational corporates on high‑profile deals across the full transaction lifecycle.

In Europe, our TAG professionals work on cross‑border engagements spanning Germany, the wider EMEA region, and globally—collaborating closely with Managing Directors and senior leaders while gaining broad sector exposure.

How You Will Contribute

• Prepare high‑quality financial due diligence deliverables, including Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, net working capital and net debt analyses, financial fact books, and cash flow and financing models.
• Conduct market and competitive benchmarking to provide commercial context to diligence findings.
• Assess and test business plans for plausibility, including revenue, margin, cash flow, and capital expenditure assumptions.
• Support buy‑side and sell‑side M&A projects across national and international processes, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop clear, insight‑led reports and client‑ready presentations that highlight key issues, risks, and value‑creation levers.
• Contribute to internal knowledge development and assist with proposal preparation and workplan design as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for data, with confident command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Relevant internships or experience with consulting firms, private equity funds, investment banking, or industry finance.
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Excellent German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
