Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join a Leveraged Finance & Private Credit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts (LBOs), acquisition financings, and private credit solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Execution: Support the structuring and execution of leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and private credit transactions.
• Financial Analysis: Perform detailed credit analysis, financial modelling, and scenario testing to assess risk and return profiles.
• Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors.
• Market Research: Monitor leveraged finance and private credit markets, providing insights on pricing, investor appetite, and sector trends.
• Client Interaction: Assist in preparing marketing materials, pitch books, and presentations for financial sponsors and corporate clients.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Support ongoing monitoring of existing transactions and portfolio performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1-4 years in leveraged finance, private credit, debt capital markets, or related areas (investment banking, credit funds, or advisory).
• Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and credit analysis capabilities; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge: Understanding of LBO structures, debt instruments (term loans, bonds, mezzanine), and European leveraged finance market dynamics.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
