YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This Analyst, Asset Management position is an integral part of the Asset management Team. The candidate will support the asset managers in the day-to-day management of our Logistics real estate portfolio. The key activities include:
- Supporting the Asset Management team with updates of quarterly asset management reports as well as regular updates of asset business plans in Soneka.
- Working closely with all AEW functions (e.g., Investment, Fund Management, Fund Operations, Sustainability) as well as external service providers.
- Participating in meetings with asset managers and external parties such as developers, tenants, property managers, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting with the preparation of strategic lease negotiations to improve the asset's cash flow and valuation.
- Supporting the Asset Management team and SRI department with various ad-hoc ESG matters.
- Supporting with regular quality checks on external property management reports.
- Supporting document maintenance in AEW's internal systems.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Graduated from Business school or University in real estate, business administration, economics, finance or a similar field of study.
- Good knowledge of real estate as well as a good understanding of economic and financial interrelationships; proven experience in cash flow modelling.
- Ideally first practical experience in asset management company, financial institution or advisory firm.
- Excellent proficiency of all common Microsoft 365 applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Language skills: German, English; French is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills, goal-oriented work approach, and a strong team spirit; willingness to travel. Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities; intercultural experience is a plus.
