We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android Native Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team. As an Android Native Engineer (f/m/d),you will be responsible for developing and implementing mobile solutions to solve complex business problems. You willcollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy several mobile applications used daily by thousands ofusers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android native development and real good sense of software architecture,along with excellent programming skills, ability to learn new things and the commitment to always improve the products withinthe company. Contribute to the development of high quality, reliable, fast, scalable and responsive softwareMaintain and improve different mobile applications within the company scopeAbility to code following different architectural design patternsWriting testable code and ensuring the test coverage stays at the agreed levelBe committed and contribute to maintain and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous DeploymentShow a constant interest in learning new things and try proof of concepts towards to improve the products and thetechnology strategy inside the companyBe a mentor for other engineers and work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as developers, analysts, testers, in an agile-minded environment What do you bring to the table? Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, computer electronics or a related fieldProven experience (5+ years) working as a native Android developer with Java and Kotlin languagesSolid understanding of modern mobile app architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture), Gradle dependence management, Unit Testing (Espresso, JUnit)Proven MAD (Modern Android Development) skills are strongly appreciated: Jetpack framework (Compose, Room, etc.), Dependency Injection (Koin, Dagger), Retrofit, Ktor, Kotlin Coroutines and FlowsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services, code versioning tools (GIT) and CI/CD processes/toolsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile-minded environmentStrong attention to detail, good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus are highly appreciatedA self-driven and proactive attitude, with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trendsProvide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the teamThe candidate should be fluent in English, ability to speak German it’s a plus What do we bring to the table?
