Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA) supports anesthesiologists in preparing, maintaining, and monitoring anesthesia equipment and patients during surgical procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect anesthesia equipment and materials.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after anesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiration).
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sterilization standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
• Support emergency response and resuscitation efforts.
• Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements

• Completed training as Anesthesia Technical Assistant, Anesthesia Technician, or equivalent qualification.
• German language proficiency at B2 level.
• Several years of professional experience in operating theatres.
• Verified academic documents and granted work visa.
• Strong professional competence and interpersonal skills.
• Structured, quality-oriented, and efficient working style.
