API Integration Engineer

Introduction & Summary

We are searching for a Senior Consultant to join our team specializing in API integration. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in API development and integration, with strong technical skills required to navigate complex systems effectively.

Main Responsibilities

As an API Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with teams to ensure seamless integration processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing API solutions using Akana or similar platforms.
• Managing and monitoring the performance of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshooting 2nd and 3rd line API-related incidents.
• Implementing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducting message transformations using JavaScript.

Key Requirements

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• 3-5 years of experience in API integration and development.
• Strong experience with API gateway solutions like Akana, MuleSoft, or Google APG.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, HTTP protocols, OAuth2, Windows Authentication, and Kerberos.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure Pipelines.
• Proficient in JavaScript for message transformations.

Nice to Have

Candidates with the following complementary skills will be considered favorably:

• Familiarity with certificate lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of regulated industry practices (finance or insurance).

Other Details

This role will require onsite presence initially, transitioning to remote work thereafter. This is a senior-level position aimed at experienced professionals in the field.
