Application Engineer - Collision Repair & Digital (m/f/*) – 3M, Neuss, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

As an Application Engineer - Collision Repair & Digital at Automotive Aftermarket Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative teams to support 3M RepairStack Digital Performance Solutions in collision centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-shop setup of 3M RepairStack Digital Performance Solutions, a hardware/software program designed to assist Collision Centres to maximize profitability and monitor material consumption.
• Implement training programs for body shop employees working with 3M RepairStack, focusing on practical application and user proficiency.
• Partner with 3M sales personnel, including training and mentoring on RepairStack at customer locations.
• Support distribution partners with comprehensive training and hardware setup to ensure consistent RepairStack experiences for Collision Centres.
• Communicate solutions and guidance for troubleshooting software and hardware to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Global team members in a dynamic and changing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, preferably with technical products or industrial software
• Passion for problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit and track record of working in dynamic environments
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Germany
• Proficiency in German and English
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice-to-have / Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant education
• Experience in automotive industry, preferably collision repair sector
• Previous hardware/software experience with automotive calibration and diagnostic equipment, Inventory Management Systems or Smart paint scales
• Experience with Key Performance Metric implementation and monitoring at customer locations
