We’re recruiting an Applications & Support Engineer for a leading motion control company whose technologies power precision-critical processes in industries such as semiconductors, photonics, and automation. What You’ll Be Doing

• Commission, troubleshoot, and optimise multi-axis motion control systems on customer sites.
• Provide responsive remote and onsite support, solving technical challenges in real time.
• Deliver technical training, demos, and presentations to customer engineering teams.
• Write application notes, white papers, and other technical collateral.
• Collaborate closely with R&D to refine existing products and define new features.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with engineers and stakeholders across the DACH region.

What You Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience with motion control systems, electric drives, and servo technology.
• Familiarity with programming in C, C++, C#, VB.NET, or scripting languages (experience with motion control languages is a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills, ideally from OEM or system integrator experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: confident, collaborative, and customer-facing.
• Fluent German and English (essential for working directly with customers in the DACH region).
• Willingness to travel (~40%), primarily across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
