Digital transformation is changing the way we work and collaborate. To strengthen Welthungerhilfe’s digital backbone, we are modernizing our CRM landscape – moving from our current SAP-based solution towards cloud-based platforms such as Salesforce and DynaCampaign. To support this journey, we are looking for an engaged and analytical Application Manager – CRM Solutions to join our Business Solutions team and our cross‑departmental CRM project.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the administration, operation, and continuous optimization of the CRM landscape (e.g., MFPlus, Dynacampaign)
- Coordination of system maintenance, user management, and data quality, ensuring stable interfaces with SAP ECC and other connected systems
- Analysis of CRM-related business processes (donor management, campaign management, relationship management) and consultation with stakeholders to improve efficiency and system integration
- Driving CRM-related workstreams in future CRM projects (e.g., Salesforce implementation) as an application expert – from requirements gathering and process analysis to configuration support, testing, data migration, and go‑live. Identification of optimization opportunities together with the Domain Data Owner and Process Owner Marketing, streamlining end‑to‑end processes and reducing manual work through automation
- Acting as a link between business users, the project team, SAP experts, and external partners to ensure seamless system integration and consistent processes
- Coordination of external service providers and monitoring of service quality and system performance
- Documentation of system changes, creation of user guides, and preparation or delivery of training sessions for key users and end users
- Assumption of operational responsibility for newly introduced CRM systems, driving continuous optimization, user adoption, and process automation
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- 1–3 years of professional experience in application management, CRM administration, or process support, ideally in a nonprofit or service-oriented environment
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce, MFPlus, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP (FI/CO, SD)
- Good understanding of donor management, fundraising, or campaign management processes is an advantage
- Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- You recognize the growing value of data in your field and strive to make evidence-based decisions
- Proactive, analytical, and structured approach to work, with enjoyment in coordinating between departments and external partners
- Motivation to further develop CRM expertise, especially in Salesforce, DynaCampaign and modern cloud applications
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German is a strong asset
