To strengthen our team in Hanover, we are currently looking for a:
MES Hydra Application Manager (m/f/d) Full-time
Do you want to make production digitally measurable—and set up systems that really work in the factory? Then take on responsibility for MES Hydra (MPDV) in an internationally positioned medium-sized group of companies (rubber & plastic) with rollouts in Germany, Europe, and North America. Become part of our Digital Services team at our Hanover location.
The JÄGER Group, headquartered in Hanover, has been supplying high-quality components and subsystems made of rubber, plastic, metal, and, more recently, basalt for over 80 years. The fourth-generation family-run group of companies is recognized as a qualified, globally active partner in mechanical and plant engineering, environmental and agricultural technology, energy technology, and petroleum exploration. Today, we have more than 1,200 employees working for us worldwide at over 20 national and international locations.
YOUR TASKS
- You are the main contact person for Hydra in the Jäger Group – both technically and organizationally
- You will introduce Hydra to other plants and continuously develop the solution
- You will support our locations in all aspects of production orders/planning, QA, BDE/MDE, time recording, and reporting
- You will ensure stable operation (troubleshooting, root cause analysis, improvements)
- You will accompany updates/releases, coordinate partners, and implement minor adjustments yourself after training
- You will train key users and translate production requirements into implementable solutions
YOUR PROFILE
- A degree (e.g., business informatics or engineering, business administration with a focus on IT) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and, ideally, experience in projects/subprojects (rollouts, implementation, further development)
- Ideally, several years of practical experience with an MES (preferably Hydra/MPDV) and an understanding of processes in the manufacturing industry
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting
- An understanding of ERP is a plus (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics or SAP) – especially in the interaction between MES and ERP
- Very good written and spoken English for international collaboration
Extra plus: Hands-on IT infrastructure.
Because it counts on the shop floor: Know-how in machine connection & Hydra terminals as well as basics in network/Windows clients/remote troubleshooting are a real advantage.
