Application Specialist, In Vitro Diagnostics – North Rhine-Westphalia

The company is a manufacturer of automation, analyzers, assays and kits for In Vitro Diagnostics. Their products are used for the screening and monitoring of various diseases, primarily in the areas of Oncology, Diabetes, Hemoglobinopathy, Autoimmune, and other rare pathologies.

The Position:

1. Provide scientific and application support to customers and internal colleagues.
2. Organization and implementation of product trainings and inductions.
3. Support with equipment installations in close collaboration with the technical service team.
4. On-site validation of devices and assays.
5. Analysing and resolving customer problems (lab environment, 1st and 2nd level application support).
6. Participation in conferences, trade fairs, seminars, meetings and training events.

The position is home office based, with regular travel to customer sites in the Rhein-Ruhr region (4 days at customer sites, 1 home office day each week).

The Requirements:

1. Educated in a Scientific / Medical field; Medical Technology / Medizintechnik, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biologielaborant, BTA; or related field.
2. High level of self-organization and ability to work in a team.
3. Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites.
4. Languages: Fluent German and English language essential.
