Position: Applied AI Engineer (f/m/d) | Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid – 2 days per week) | Start date: Q1 2026

Role overview

The position focuses on building and scaling automated translation capabilities, fine-tuning language models, and developing engineering pipelines that can be applied across multiple markets. It requires a strong software engineering background with an emphasis on Python, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and applied machine learning. The role will also support early recommender-system features for the core market, later scaling these to further regions and customising content to various culture backgrounds.

What you should bring to the table:

• StrongPythonengineering skills
• Experience withTerraformandCI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of machine-learning conceptsand experience fine-tuning models
• Ability todesign and maintainscalable pipelines and generalisable engineering solutions
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage
