What does an electronics engineer for industrial engineering (m/f/d) do at Berthold Vollers GmbH?

As an apprentice, you will become part of a team and receive comprehensive training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d). In this profession, you will learn how to install systems and equipment for power supply, measurement and control technology, signalling technology, drive technology, and lighting technology. You will also learn how to commission and maintain these systems and installations.

We will teach you how to assemble and install power cables and how to set up machines and drive systems. Assembling and wiring switchgear and programming and configuring systems are also part of your training with us.

You will also learn to take responsibility for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing our equipment and systems that ensure the smooth (pre-)production, storage, and retrieval of coffee beans, tea, and packaged goods.

At school, you will receive theoretical instruction and learn important skills that you can then put into practice directly in our company.

What you will learn with us

• Commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems
• Designing system modifications and expansions
• Assembling and installing power supply systems, information lines, and energy lines, including general supply lines
• Installing and setting up machines and drive systems
• Assembling and wiring switchgear and automation systems
• Programming and configuring systems
• Functional testing and safety equipment of the systems
• Monitoring and maintaining our systems
• Analysing faults and taking immediate action
• Instructing users in operation and providing services
• Monitoring the work of service providers and other trades

• Completed secondary school with good grades in maths or an intermediate school leaving certificate or even a (technical) high school diploma
