Area Manager (m/w/d)

About the Job

As a Area Manager, you will inform our retailers in Germany about our products and our skincare philosophy at our Retailer Douglas. The total German team currently consists of 15 people and is based in Berlin. Your role as a Area Manager will involve consistent travel in your Region, which will include hotel: Accommodation if necessary. Occasionally we will also ask you to work weekends for ad hoc PR Events or Pop-ups.

Your role

• Will regularly visit different stores to check product stock levels/testers and ensure that visual merchandising is of a high standard.
• Are responsible for building and maintaining great working relationships with customers and retailers through high quality service delivery and addressing concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
• Are responsible to recognize needs for training the booking, coordination, and administration of product trainings in various forms.
• Also enjoy actively planning, the coordination and participation in events.
• Will analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to achieve targets and objectives.

What you bring

• Enjoy the facilitation of trainings.
• Like to be on the road and have no problems travelling extensively.
• Have a passion for beauty topics and have already gained experience preferably in retail, hospitality, or service industries (2-3 years).
• Have a basic understanding of business, and demonstrate proficient knowledge.
• Microsoft office and relevant Software applications.
• Enjoy facilitating clear and effective communication to senior management.
• Have great verbal and written communication skills in German and proficient in English.
• Like to work independent and provide strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities in a motivating and positive manner.
• Have a valid driving license.
