Job Description

Als Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) für unser Business Industrial Wood Coatings werden Sie ein Team aus technischen Anwendungsspezialisten führen und verantworten das profitable Wachstum im Beschichtungsmarkt in der Region Süddeutschland, Österreich und Schweiz . Der Fokus liegt auf der Weiterentwicklung bestehender OEM‑, Distributoren- und Industriekunden sowie der Gewinnung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten in relevanten Segmenten.

Responsibilities

• Entwicklung und Umsetzung der regionalen Vertriebsstrategie zur Erreichung von Umsatz‑, Margen‑ und Marktanteilszielen
• Betreuung und Ausbau bestehender Kundenbeziehungen sowie aktive Neukundenakquise
• Führung kommerzieller Verhandlungen (Preisgestaltung, Verträge, Rahmenvereinbarungen)
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem technischen Team bei Prüfungen, Produktqualifizierungen, Testläufen und Prozessoptimierungen
• Markt‑ und Wettbewerbsbeobachtung sowie Ableitung von Maßnahmen für Portfolio und Pricing
• Sicherstellung einer aktuellen CRM-Pipeline und regelmäßiger Sales‑Reports
• Repräsentation des Unternehmens bei Messen, Kundenterminen und Audits
• Führung, Coaching und Weiterentwicklung des Vertriebsteams inkl. KPI‑Management

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im betriebswirtschaftlichen oder technischen Bereich oder vergleichbare abgeschlossene Ausbildung
• Mind. 7 Jahre Erfahrung im Vertrieb, Außendienst, Neukundenakquise und im direkten Verkauf an OEMs, Distributoren oder Industriekunden
• Gute Kenntnisse in Beschichtungstechnologien und Anwendungsmethoden wäre von Vorteil
• Ausgeprägte Verhandlungsstärke, Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Kundenorientierung
• Fließend Deutsch‑ und Englischkenntnisse
• Führerschein Klasse B und Reisebereitschaft in der verantwortlichen Region
• Reisebereitschaft ca. 50 %
