Asset Manager - AllianzGI Direct Lending platform (f/m/d)

Located in Munich or Paris, the Asset Manager will perform ongoing monitoring and support the lifecycle of investments on the Direct Lending platform.

What you will do

• Ongoing monitoring of existing loan portfolios, including interim financial analyses throughout the year and comprehensive annual reviews
• Preparation and presentation of credit ratings
• Identification and analysis of early warning indicators
• Covenant monitoring
• Preparation of decision papers for waiver requests and contract amendments
• Participation in investment committee meetings and regular discussions with the internal risk department
• Participation in management presentations, client and investor events, and other borrower meetings
• Support during the onboarding of completed investments (assessment of guarantee statements, KYC documents, etc.)
• Support in the investment process for revolving credit

What you bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management or credit analysis within direct lending, private debt, leveraged finance, or bank investments
• Strong understanding of credit risk analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with borrowers and stakeholders
• Excellent academic background
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in both English and French; knowledge of German is an asset
• Experience in data management and IT tool development
• Ability to use Generative AI tools, including familiarity with Microsoft Copilot
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent business trips to meet clients and prospects
