What you'll do

• Performs complex analysis to identify savings opportunities and develops sourcing based on commodity, vendor or strategic initiative, documenting cost savings and process improvement activities.
• Collects and conducts analysis of spend data and other utilization data to identify expense reduction and operational improvement opportunities.
• Helps target high volume/high cost supplies for focused attention and assists with the management of contracting efforts to reduce cost and consumption.
• Analyzes and reviews all vendor documentation to ensure that all data is updated in, and uploaded to, the vendor management system.
• Assists in programming updates and implementations including new training functions of the software.
• Develops an understanding of financial analysis such as contract cost impact statement and pricing comparison.
• Sets priorities based on customer input, savings potential, and organizational readiness.
• Provides support to other analysts and leadership.

What you'll need

• Associate's Degree in a related field or 2 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
• Advanced proficiency in assigned function, example; (Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Project Mgmt, etc.)
