Associate Consultant (f/m/d)

The Associate Consultant will participate in and complete the Associate Training Program under the guidance of mentors and managers. Once completed, the Associate Consultant will conduct property loss control surveys and evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on National Fire Protection Association Standards (NFPA).

Your Tasks

• Participate in the Associate Training Program weekly training calls, hands-on fire training, and accompanied loss control field surveys.
• Client Loss Control Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others as appropriate.
• Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
• Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
• Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
• Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.

Your Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or higher required, engineering degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with client management including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision makers.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to clients’ needs to assist in the business decision making process.
