As an Associate Consultant your responsibilities will primarily involve research tasks (primary and secondary). You will develop insights in line with the various project themes and assist in the preparation of project-related details and information using PowerPoint and Excel. By conducting expert interviews you will gather valuable industry insights to provide our clients with a broad overview of various market and industry topics.
In addition to comprehensive professional onboarding including a mentor system from day one you will gain deep insights into the transaction and strategy business and the private‑equity industry.
YOUR TASK
- Assisting in the execution of transactions including the creation of commercial fact books and information memoranda
- Supporting growth strategies by assisting our clients in implementing their buy‑and‑build / platform strategies
- Identifying investment opportunities through target screenings
- Contributing to market modelling and business plan validation
- Conducting primary (particularly expert interviews) and secondary research for market, customer and competitor analyses
- Supporting product development and project‑ and theme‑related customer management
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree
- Initial practical experience in the consulting field (with a focus on Transaction Advisory Services / M&A), private equity or venture capital
- Team reliance: you are actively involved and make an active contribution to the overall success of the team and the company
- You want to keep learning and are open to new challenges
- Proficient MS Office skills (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent language skills in German and English
