Our client is a global, fully integrated biopharmaceutical company with several thousand employees, focused on novel therapies in oncology and other disease areas. The company has a diversified product pipeline across several therapeutic areas and a portfolio of marketed products.

The Opportunity

In the context of its growth, our client is looking for an Associate Director – Regional Sales Network Manager (m/f/d) with several years of sales leadership experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

The role will be responsible for driving the success of the portfolio in the defined regions in Germany. Leading a salesforce, the incumbent plays a critical role in maximizing commercial performance, spearheading sales and multichannel strategies, managing key accounts, and deepening engagement with regional stakeholders, including healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, payors, and top prescribers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Holding full responsibility for the sales activities in the respective region
  • Promoting products to healthcare providers
  • Providing market insights and developing sales and multichannel strategies, in cooperation with internal business partners
  • Initiating and managing events and sponsoring in the respective region
  • Supporting key account and network management for Germany by identifying and managing healthcare professionals and collaborating with KAMs
  • Developing and executing education programs with medical professionals and pharmacies, as well as external sales partners
  • Providing scientific advice, powerful communication, and excellent leadership to the sales team
  • Building strong, lasting customer relationships

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in the (bio) pharmaceutical industry, ideally in the field of primary care and/or vaccines
  • In‑depth knowledge of prescriber landscape
  • Experience in regional commercial strategy, omnichannel management, and influencing key opinion leaders
  • Experience in network management, and steering functions in field
  • Full professional proficiency in both English and German is required.
