Associate Investment Manager (m/w/d)

As an Investment Associate, you will join Edge’s Transactions Team in driving our growth across Germany. You will work closely with senior team members on sourcing, analysing, and executing real estate transactions, and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of an investment: from acquisition to structuring and exit. You will also contribute to strategic decision-making and help shape future opportunities through your insights and analysis.

• Underwriting & Analysis Support the analysis and underwriting of potential acquisitions and development projects. Build and maintain financial models, perform market and feasibility studies, and prepare investment memos for internal decision-making.

• Transaction Support Contribute to transaction processes by coordinating due diligence efforts, supporting contract negotiations, and liaising with brokers, consultants, and legal advisors. Support senior team members in managing internal approvals and project timelines.

• Research & Market Intelligence Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and support strategic initiatives.

• Stakeholder Communication Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committees and joint venture partners.

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in a business, financial, or analytical role

• Preferably educated to a Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in a related field such as Finance, Business Management, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Science, or Engineering

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

• Familiarity with the German real estate market is a plus

• High attention to detail, structured thinking, and a proactive attitude

• Excellent communication skills in English and German

• Curious, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development

• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
