Join to apply for the Associate Reporting and Accounting Officer - based in Luxembourg role at European Investment Bank (EIB). This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers relocation support.
You will assess the impact of newly introduced accounting regulations—European Accounting Directives (EUGAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)—on financial reporting and accounting policies in order to formulate recommendations that ensure regulatory compliance, consistency, and transparency across the EIB Group. You will review accounting sections, identify and resolve anomalies or inaccuracies in financial reports, and collaborate with other services to support the integrity and reliability of financial information.
The Treasury and Funding Accounting Unit (TFAU) is part of the Bank Reporting Division, responsible for the production of the EIB’s financial statements under EU‑AD and IFRS, and for the preparation of statistical reporting to the Central Bank of Luxembourg. The TFAU covers treasury and capital market activities whose data streams impact the bank’s financial position, including market risk, credit risk, performance indicators, and the associated information and management systems.
