Your Role

Joining ARCHIMED Consulting Team, you will play an instrumental role to enhance and scale our internal market intelligence initiative towards our investment team and portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will combine deep scientific and analytical knowledge with business and strategic acumen. You will lead internal commercial due diligences, mentor and train internally, and manage relationships with external advisors. Upstream, you will participate in ARCHIMED strategic reflection within sector teams, contributing to target markets prioritization. Downstream, you will contribute to shape and deliver on large-scale value creation initiatives for portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sub-sectors of investment and build our investment thesis
• Organize and deliver sub-sector deep dives
• Conduct internal commercial due diligences on targets and exit diligences
• Manage strategic assessment projects for our portfolio companies
• Reinforce our healthcare sectors market watch
• Collaborate with strategy consulting providers and oversee external CDD or strategy projects
• Develop our internal market intelligence culture by delivering focused trainings

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
• Experienced strategy consulting professional – 5 to 7 years in HealthCare / Life Sciences strategy consulting, corporate development, Venture Capital / Private Equity with exposure to due diligence
• Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to bridge scientific depth and business strategy
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, analytical, and team-driven environment
• Business acumen to identify emerging sector trends and to build or challenge an investment thesis
• Leadership to drive decision making in a deal process or with portfolio companies
• Public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Agile, hands-on mindset and ability to work in close team dynamics
• Fluent English
