Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio recording equipment for in-house audiobook sessions
• Collaborate with narrators and production staff to achieve optimal sound quality
• Edit, mix, and master audio files to meet industry standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues during recording sessions
• Maintain organized session files and documentation
• Ensure all deliverables are completed within project timelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audio engineering, preferably with audiobooks or spoken word projects
• Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and audio hardware
• Strong understanding of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering processes
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to audio quality
• Ability to work on-site in Munich, Germany (remote or traveling applicants will not be considered)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible availability to support in-house recording schedules
