Job Purpose and ImpactThe Automation, Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer helps to design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. Key AccountabilitiesParticipate in developing budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs and designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial purposes.Apply general knowledge of principles, terms and practices of the electrical engineering discipline to support the design and build of safe and reliable operationsResponsible to coordinate and provide direct support and delivery of services for an operation.Execute and support electrical engineering standards and deliverables in capital projects.Monitor and support progress for projects with low to medium levels of complexity and ensure appropriate resource allocations and portfolio prioritization.Inspect completed installations and observes operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.Direct and oversee manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceDemonstrated working knowledge of electrical and automation technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniquesDemonstrated work experience in electrical and automation engineeringGood project management skillEnglish and German good levelPreferred QualificationsAbility to handle multiple priorities with large projects extending over a period of timeAbility to work efficiently and effectively as an individual and in a team environmentGood communication skillsPrior experience in designing and building electrical systemsKnowledge of process control systems Siemens PCS7,S7 Our OfferWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
