We are working with a leading Pharma client of ours to seek a highly skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens PCS 7 to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of automation solutions to support digital manufacturing operations in a GxP-regulated environment.As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical part in translating process requirements into robust control system logic, ensuring seamless operation, data integrity, and reliability across manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain PCS 7 control system architecture, including CFC/ SFC programming, HMI configuration, and system integration.Participate in control strategy development, functional specification authoring, and system testing (FAT/SAT).Troubleshoot automation and electrical issues to ensure smooth and reliable plant operation.Support commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ), and ongoing system improvements in collaboration with operations and engineering teams.Manage software changes and documentation in compliance with GMP and data integrity standards.Provide technical support for batch management (SIMATIC Batch) and Route Control where applicable. RequirementsProven experience with Siemens PCS 7 (design, configuration, and troubleshooting).Strong understanding of process automation in a regulated or manufacturing environment (pharma, biotech, or chemical preferred).Experience with S88/S95 standards, GMP, and validation processes is advantageous.Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and project teams.Degree in Automation, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience).
