Nippon Seiki (Europe) B.V. (NSEU) has been established in 2002 and is a fully owned subsidiary of Nippon Seiki Co. Ltd., based in Nagaoka, Japan. Our European headquarters is located in Hoofddorp – The Netherlands. We focus on the European automotive market with our engineering sites located close to the industry in Hallbergmoos (Germany), Redditch (United Kingdom) and a software development office in Gdansk (Poland).

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field – Educational background with a focus on procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• 10+ Years of Experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement – Proven experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills – Ability to negotiate contracts effectively and analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Proficiency in Cost Management and Budget Adherence – Experience in cost‑benefit analysis, total cost of ownership assessments, and driving cost‑saving initiatives.
• Excellent Communication and Relationship Management Skills – Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies – Create long‑term sourcing strategies to optimise procurement processes and build strong supplier relationships, focusing on key components such as die‑cast.
• Manage Supplier Relationships and Contract Negotiations – Foster collaborative relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct Market Research and Perform Cost‑Benefit Analysis – Gather and analyse market data to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and evaluate the financial impacts of procurement decisions.
• Drive Cost Management Initiatives – Implement cost‑saving measures through bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and other strategies while ensuring quality and service levels are maintained.
• Monitor Supplier Performance and Compliance – Regularly assess supplier performance, ensure compliance with contract terms, and initiate corrective actions when necessary to mitigate risks and enhance value.
