Avionics Architect (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Lead the design of the avionics architecture of the satellite
• Define and develop the avionics architecture of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade-offs, interface budgets and hardware performances
• Technical responsibility for the satellite data handling subsystem integrity, thus for system level activities including requirements engineering, design and performance engineering
• Overall responsibility for the data handling engineering activities, to ensure technical quality as well as adherence to schedule and cost
• Define strategy, analysis and test cases for the data handling subsystem verification: satellite configuration and interface control, data handling budget control and subsystem level test plans
• Coordinate review of specifications, interfaces, requests for deviations and waivers with respect to impact on data interfaces
• Coordination with the lead systems engineer
• Support system level design reviews
• Focal point to customers for the satellite avionics

Your Qualifications

• A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or compatible qualification
• More than 3 years of professional experience as electronic systems engineer or in similar positions
• Good conceptual and analytical skills
• Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of Avionics systems
• Strong capability of leading engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
