Role and Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members develop their skills.
• Technical Oversight: Act as the technical authority on Azure cloud architecture, guiding the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions.
• Project Management: Manage the full project lifecycle from design to deployment, using Agile (Scrum) and hybrid methodologies. This includes managing sprints, milestones, resources, and timelines.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Oversee and champion the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Performance and Security: Maintain high standards for system performance, security, and compliance. Monitor cloud infrastructure, manage costs, and implement security measures like access controls and data protection strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and managing software or cloud engineering teams.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure services, such as compute, networking, storage, data, and security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management.
• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud security principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with specific Azure services based on the role's focus (e.g., Azure Data Factory for data roles, Logic Apps for integration roles).
