Job Description

Our facility in Neckarbischofsheim develops and manufactures with 125 employees precision Quartz Crystals, Crystal Oscillators and Atomic Clocks which are used for instance in telecommunication, data center, test & measurement, medical, industrial, radar and aerospace systems.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering you will be part of the R&D team.

The title of the thesis is “Frequency Source in the SHF-Band (Super High Frequency) with low Phase Noise for Radar Applications”.

Responsibilities

  • Familiarization with the fundamentals of SHF signals and phase noise.
  • Research and analysis of current technologies for generating SHF signals with low phase noise.
  • Development and simulation of a concept for an innovative signal source.
  • Implementation of the concept and execution of measurements.
  • Documentation of results and presentation to the team.

Unsere Einrichtung in Neckarbischofsheim entwickelt und fertigt mit 125 Mitarbeitenden präzise Quarzkristalle, Quarzoszillatoren und Atomuhren, die unter anderem in der Telekommunikation, in Rechenzentren, in der Mess- und Prüftechnik, in der Medizintechnik, in der Industrie, in Radar- sowie in Luft- und Raumfahrtsystemen eingesetzt werden.

In dieser Position berichten Sie an den Senior Manager Engineering und sind Teil des R&D-Teams.

Der Titel Der Abschlussarbeit Lautet „Frequenzquelle im SHF-Band (Super High Frequency) mit geringem Phasenrauschen für Radaranwendungen”.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable degree program.
  • knowledge of high‑frequency technology and circuit design.
  • Interest in radar technology and signal processing.
  • Ideally, experience with simulation software (e.g., ADS).
  • Independent and structured working style.
  • Fluent English and German language skills.
