Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge, scalable backend systems that support AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, real-time systems, and agentic AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable backend solutions using AWS serverless services
• Integrate and optimize agentic AI frameworks, particularly LangGraph
• Design and manage streams, queues, and circuit breakers for robust system performance
• Build and maintain real-time systems using Kafka, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events (SSE)
• Develop and monitor evaluation systems and performance metrics
• Handle asynchronous and long-running jobs efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support applications with >100k Daily Active Users (DAU)
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python and TypeScript

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially in serverless architecture
• Proven experience with agentic AI, particularly LangGraph
• Solid understanding of backend infrastructure including streams, queues, and circuit breakers
• Experience scaling applications to support high user volumes
• Familiarity with real-time systems (Kafka, WebSockets, SSE)
• Experience building and maintaining evaluation frameworks
• Strong background in asynchronous processing and long-running jobs
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
