Overview

As a Backend Developer (m/f/d) with a passion for cloud operations, you help ensure our developers can build efficiently on a reliable, secure, and high-performing platform. You bring strong backend development experience and take ownership of the cloud-side operations that keep our services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

You own our AWS cloud platform and work hand in hand with developers and product to shape it into a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient foundation for Ocumeda’s growth
You keep our TypeScript CDK Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) up to date to automate provisioning and deployments, ensuring reproducibility and speed
You design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes and tests that guarantee high availability and reliability of our services
You monitor platform performance, availability, and costs, making data-driven improvements for stability and efficiency
You combine technical security ownership (IAM, networking, data protection) with strategic responsibility for making infrastructure decisions

Your profile / Qualifications

… you are an experienced TypeScript backend developer who enjoys working close to cloud systems and DevOps topics.
… you have practical experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (ideally with TypeScript CDK ).
… you’ve worked with monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines , and understand how they support reliable software delivery.
… you care about security, scalability, and cost efficiency , but stay focused on improving developer workflows.
… you enjoy taking ownership in a startup environment and building sustainable systems that scale with the company’s growth.
...you speak fluently German (C1) and English (C1)
