Backend Developer (m/f/d) Java / Springboot

Stellenbeschreibung:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs
Own backend architecture decisions, including data modeling, service boundaries, and integrations
Lead development of core features end-to-end, from design through production rollout
Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, testing, and performance optimization
Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high engineering standards
Participate in technical planning, estimations, and architecture discussions
Identify and proactively address technical debt and scalability risks

Strong expertise in Java with a deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem; Node.js and Python are a plus
Proven experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA for data access
Solid understanding of event-driven architecture with hands-on experience using AWS messaging services (SNS/SQS)
Demonstrable skills with RDS MySQL and PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning
Basic knowledge of streaming with Amazon Data Firehose and Kinesis Streams
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS) and infrastructure as code (Serverless Framework)
Hands-on data engineering experience: building and maintaining pipelines, ETL/ELT processes
Experience using Claude Code for AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows
