We’re now looking for a Backend Developer with DevOps expertise (mid-level or senior) to help us scale to the next level. You’ll play a key role in building robust systems and infrastructure that support product growth and positively impact millions of people’s lives.

What you’ll do

• Deploy, operate, and maintain our systems to ensure stability and scalability.

• Develop new features for our backend services, serving millions of users worldwide.

• Contribute to our microservices with clean code, fresh ideas, and best practices.

• Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability.

• Work with modern technologies and frameworks.

• Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team where you can also work independently when needed.

• Have a direct impact on the success and growth of NeuroNation.

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer.

• Solid experience with Docker & Kubernetes (2+ years) and managing deployments.

• Strong backend skills in PHP 8.x and MySQL (including efficient SQL).

• Familiarity with Laravel Lumen or Slim , and MVC architecture.

• Good testing habits (e.g., PHPUnit) and writing clean, maintainable code.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS).

• Passionate about building meaningful products that improve people’s lives.

• A true team player who enjoys collaboration and supporting colleagues.

• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.

• Bonus: interest in working with large-scale databases and performance optimization.
