Beamline Scientist - Beamline P03

About your role:

Participation in development of micro- and nano focusing techniques at P / MiNaXS in terms of hardware and software as well as future PETRA IV planning

Development of data acquisition and analysis environment

User support at P / MiNaXS

• Pursuing a research program in the field of surfaces, interfaces or nanostructured thin films studied with GISAXS / GIWAXS methods in combination with developments of analytic software

Limited : 3 years

About you :

PhD and master in physics, chemistry or comparable sciences

Knowledge and experience in SAXS / GISAXS / GIWAXS methods at 3rd or 4th-generation synchrotron radiation sources

Experience in surface coating thin film technologies is desirable

Programming skills, especially in Python, are highly desirable

Experience in analysing GISAXS / GIWAXS Data

Business fluent English

• Record of scientific publications
