Budget Analyst

The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a Budget Analyst, you’ll bring your program management background expertise to work alongside thought leaders in security assistance on projects for combined and Joint forces. You’ll use your skills and expertise to enable acquisitions, develop and manage reports, and provide operational insights to senior leaders.

Work with us to solve complex security assistance problems, and identify, analyze, and evaluate ongoing programs related to developing partner military and security capabilities while providing insights, options, and recommendations to senior decision‑makers as part of a combined and Joint mission.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience working in a Program Management Office
• 2+ years of experience with budget formulation involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual or multi‑year budget estimates
• Experience with budget execution and administrative work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and actual expenditures
• Experience utilizing the DoD Defense Travel System (DTS) to process travel authorizations and vouchers for the optimizing of travel logistics
• Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Financing (FMF), and various Security Assistance Authorities
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience using Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of DoD acquisitions and developing Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Requests for Proposal (RFP)

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
