Contract Opportunity: Business Central Functional Consultant (Finance Focus)

We’re currently supporting a Microsoft Partner in their search for a Business Central Functional Consultant with a strong focus on Finance to join an exciting project based in Berlin. This is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months, offering flexibility around working hours (full or part-time) and remote-first delivery, with occasional on-site collaboration in Berlin.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly within Finance modules.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and reporting.
• Experience with e-invoicing and e-documentation is highly preferred.
• Ability to gather requirements, configure solutions, and liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); C1-level German is accepted and beneficial for client interactions.

• Supporting the client’s finance team in optimizing Business Central functionality.
• Leading workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system configurations.
• Collaborating with developers and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
• Advising on best practices around e-invoicing and digital documentation workflows.
