Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Coordinator (mfx)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the department in accordance with Crisis Management Plans, Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans


• Maintain Crisis Management Plans and Business Continuity Plans in accordance with our standards


• Coordinate the review, maintenance and testing of Business Continuity Plans and ensure these plans remain valid and fit for purpose


• Coordinate the review, maintenance and testing of technology Disaster Recovery Plans for core infrastructure services, working with IT technicians and Infrastructure management to ensure these plans remain valid and fit for purpose


• Maintain and make available management information reporting detailing the current status of all Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans


• Promote corporate global awareness of Business Continuity policy, standards, plans, processes and arrangements


• Work in close cooperation with IT Vendor Management or directly with our vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or in a related field OR the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience


• Profound experience of working in Business Continuity within the financial services sector


• Profound experience of working with IT teams to develop, maintain and test IT Disaster Recovery and fallback/failover processes


• Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), Disaster Recovery Institute (CBCP) or similar certification


• Working knowledge of ISO 22301 and international Business Continuity standards


• Experience of crisis and/or incident management processes


• Experience of building and maintaining Business Continuity plans


• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements like e.g. DORA
