Business Development Director - Manufacturing/Industrial (m/f/d)

EPAM is looking for a Business Development Director to join our sales team in southern Germany in a flexible hybrid working setup. You will be responsible for driving continued growth across a number of our core verticals in the German market by working closely with our internal Consulting, Marketing, Alliances and Delivery teams and partners in the region.

Your role is that of the skillful originator and coordinator who organizes meetings and follow‑up steps that bring together all the different parties – prospects, clients, account managers, strategists, consultants, technologists and delivery experts – the multi‑disciplinary teams that jointly produce the right solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

Drive all sales and marketing activities within your region while working cross-region to share knowledge.
Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business value propositions, sales plans, RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and serve as liaison to Business Units, sales, partner and executive teams.
Coordinate with EPAM and partner teams regarding joint opportunities, including pipeline and forecast reviews.
Work with the assigned partner manager to identify, prepare and deliver product messaging to demonstrate EPAM value proposition as a trusted systems integrator.
Drive joint marketing initiatives with marketing teams.

Requirements

Relevant experience in all aspects of the sales life cycle.
Relationships and network building: you thrive on meeting people and networking.
Experience with selling software and IT services is desirable.
Solutions selling skills and demonstrated success developing and maintaining client and internal relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively across teams with strong verbal, written, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Full proficiency in German language is required.
Experience selling IT services into Manufacturing or Industrial clients is nice to have.
