We focus on metrology‑grade inspection delivered through 3D laser triangulation sensors, providing global manufacturers with solutions that improve product quality, optimise processes, and reduce production costs. SmartRay is split into two successful business units: Sensor technology – ECCO sensors in Wolfratshausen, and JOSY – the complete solution for weld seam inspection in Münsing at Lake Starnberg.

What to expect:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for existing and new customers in the field of high‑tech solutions
  • Manage and expand customer relationships across various industries (e.g. automotive, consumer electronics, mechanical engineering, semiconductors)
  • Create customer‑specific sales strategies with clearly defined objectives
  • Collaborate with international sales and product teams as well as partners to strengthen long‑term cooperation
  • Analyse market requirements and competitive landscape to support strategic business development

What to bring:

  • Completed technical degree (e.g. engineering) or comparable qualification
  • Experience in selling technically sophisticated products or systems that require explanation (e.g. sensor technology, measurement technology, automation, mechanical engineering, etc.)
  • Background in an industrial environment (e.g. automotive, mechanical engineering, sensor technology or measurement technology)
  • Strong communication skills, networking ability, and excellent command of German and English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
