LG Electronics ID B2B Europe is a Division within LG Electronics incorporating the business groups of Information Displays & Technology. The European Business Development department has as a mission to improve the penetration of LG B2B Solutions in strategic vertical markets by offering total solutions to local or international large end customers.
The European BDM for Corporate will focus on developing the go-to-market strategy for a subset of corporate or industrial vertical markets, being responsible for sales growth and profitability targeting existing and prospective new end customers across Europe.
Belonging to our B2B Information Display & Technology division and reporting to the European Enterprise Business Development Head, you will be responsible for developing and growing our business with international customers in corporate or industrial sectors across Europe. This will entail working directly with our largest customers, proactively developing new customers, and supporting our national sales subsidiaries to execute strategy locally.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the assigned vertical market sectors in Europe, taking ownership of LG’s performance in these markets
- Manage the relationship with the largest end customers in these sectors to grow LG’s business and expand the scope of business with them
- Define the ecosystem and the stakeholders of the target key customers and develop activities to increase the customer base in the assigned verticals
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product planning teams to develop and define complete solutions for your customers
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives. Position yourself as a thought-leader across both the technology sector and within the target vertical markets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments and overall competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Oversee pipeline and sales forecasts, budgets, performance metrics, and regularly report on progress to the European Enterprise Business Development Head
Required qualifications, skills and experience
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing or other related fields (MBA can be of added value)
- 5+ years proven track record in strategic selling in a B2B environment, ideally in the electronics or software/digital solutions fields
- Strategic acumen and ability to understand and adapt to the B2B ecosystem (VAR, SI and End Customer)
- Strong analytical skills to articulate complex issues and solutions with concrete actions and measurable results
- Leading personality able to inspire, engage and lead by example his local colleagues and his customers
- Able to build trustful relationships in C-level of End Customer and SI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results driven with proven track record
- Innovative and out of the box thinker
- Entrepreneurial and proactive, able to work across functions, business units and countries
- Strong experience in developing new accounts (End Customer / SI) and solution selling
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (additional European languages will be an added value)
- Extensive travel throughout Europe required (approximately 60%)
