To support our continued growth, we are looking for a commercially strong and customer-oriented Business Development Manager in Düsseldorf who will guide our clients through one of the most important purchases of their lives.
You will become part of a young, international team and work in a dynamic, inspiring, and high-end environment.
Your Role
This position combines Showroom Management with Business Development & PR responsibilities.
Showroom Leadership – Düsseldorf (Core Responsibility)
As the face of BAUNAT and Valquère (Baunat Group’s two diamond jewellery brands) in Düsseldorf, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact (email, phone, chat) for existing and prospective German clients.
- Assess client needs and schedule showroom appointments.
- Welcome customers personally in the showroom.
- Present the BAUNAT and Valquère’s business model and showcase our diamond jewellery collections.
- Provide administrative follow-up and ensure excellent after-sales service for existing clients.
- Deliver a premium customer experience based on trust, discretion, and quality.
Business Development, PR & Events (Additional Responsibility)
In collaboration with our Antwerp-based team, you will:
- Support traditional and online PR activities for the German consumer market.
- Help build and maintain a strong local network in and around Düsseldorf.
- Organize small-scale exclusive events and client activations.
- Contribute to the further expansion and visibility of Baunat Group in Germany.
Your Profile
Experience & Skills
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
- Based in or near Düsseldorf.
- Strong local network in the Düsseldorf area is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- At least 2 years of experience in:
- Sales
- Hospitality management
- Business development
- Or a similar customer-facing commercial role
- Strong B2C mindset and experience managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills — face-to-face, via email, phone, and chat.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent through experience).
- Flexibility to work weekends when required.
- Preferred employment type: Freelance (open to payroll as well).
Experience in diamonds or jewellery is not required — we provide full training.
