Business Development Manager for the German market

We deliver solutions and services to companies in more than 30 countries in the world and already have customers such as Scania, Kronospan, Volkswagen Group and more, who are working with us on different complex automation projects.
About the Role:
Currently we are searching for a new Business Development Manager, who will join our international sales team and help us to accelerate our sales expansion in the automation industry in the German market.
Responsibilities
- Discovering new business opportunities and contacting new potential clients in Germany and Austria
- Opening doors to new customers and introducing us as a top supplier in the field of industrial automation
- Keeping in touch with current customers to grow and maintain existing relationships, looking for opportunities within their international branches
- Market research and keeping up-to-date with current trends and industrial innovation
- Participating in creating offers for new automation projects
- Doing sales for ICE is not a one man show - you will closely collaborate with our Head of global sales and multiple teams, build relationships, influence and support others while getting support from them in return
- You will be part of a team working on high-tech projects which make sense and help our customers move forward through industrial revolution
Qualifications
- Experience in sales and acquisition (industrial automation or related industries, including sales of industrial machinery or components)
- Familiar with the German market and has already several potential clients in his/her mind
- Technically oriented and is a fan of industrial automation
- Brings real results and has good negotiation skills - we need you to be tactful and diplomatic at the same time and able to win hearts, minds and trust of our potential clients
- Natural with seeking ways how to achieve goals and prepared to deliver results
- Organized and able to self-manage his/her daily routines
- A friendly and fun-loving extrovert, who is not shy to pick-up the phone and invite himself for a meeting or take the customer for a lunch
- Loves traveling, exploring new regions and meeting new people
- Fluent in German and English

- Sales experience in industrial automation or related industries
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Team collaboration skills

- Technical background in industrial automation
