Are you an experienced Business Development Manager fluent in German who is passionate about building relationships with new clients? Do you have experience within the Live Events sector?

Spiro is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our Show team (formerly Design and Build). You will target and deliver new business opportunities for the Show team, working closely with the Exhibition team and internal LOBs, marketing and sales teams.

What will you do?

  • Prospect for and build relationships with new business across EMEA and in some instances internationally.
  • Formulate outstanding written proposals from informal documents to full formal RFP responses.
  • Proactively target generated leads.
  • Identify any additional services which may be presented to new clients from other divisions of Spiro.
  • Ensure that all internal systems are utilized to their full, most importantly Salesforce, and to show initiatives on maximizing revenues.
  • Ensure that all presentations of the company are high quality, whether spoken, graphic or written.

What you’ll need

• Proven Business Development Manager within the Live Events Industry with a flair for delivering outstanding tenders and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Fluency in German and English to business level.
• Ability to work weekends when required (not every weekend) and a willingness and desire to travel.
